    I apply these clear labels to the face of a magnetic compass. Their clear centers are very transparent, allowing the compass needle to be viewed clearly while protecting the compass' surface from scratches. The numbering is clear and easy to see, but it could be better. I use black characters with a printed white background for maximum contrast. But the white background is not brilliantly white li...
