Best practices for Store tags

Tags are keywords that describe your item. They make your items searchable and easier to find, which means more visibility—and more sales. Aim for 3-5 highly relevant tags.

How to choose good tags

Think about words people would search to find your item. Break it into categories:

  • Content: What's in it? (cat, coffee)
  • Theme: What's the vibe? (cute, funny)
  • Style: How is it drawn? (cartoon, minimalist)
  • Colour: What stands out? (blue, black and white)

Tagging tips

  • Check Sticker Mule's top search terms to see what customers already search.
  • Keep it short: use single words or simple phrases.
  • Be honest: never add unrelated tags just to get traffic.
