Measurements are a little misleading

I just received my order and the quality of the bags is really good and I was impressed by the turnaround time, but I’m a little disappointed in the measurements. I ordered based off of the measurements provided, but it wasn’t until they arrived that I realized the measurements provided didn’t take into account the useable space- I lost about an inch of height bc of the seal but I thought the measurements provided would be of the actual useable part of the bag. Unfortunately without that extra space the bags are a bit too small for me so that inch makes a big difference. Overall I am still impressed with the quality and will order again in future, but I just wish the measurements info was a little bit more clear to avoid ending up with bags that are too small
