Hard to peel off backing

I had a clear backing which was a poor design choice on my behalf, as they have the look like someone put packaging tape over a sticker. That being said, the adhesive on these makes the clear portions look textured. Also, since there is no split on the backing, and the sticker goes all the way to the edge, it is very hard to separate the sticker from the backing. Once you do, it’s even harder not to touch the adhesive on the sticker.
