Upload your image to Trace to automatically remove the background. Downloading your image Once your image has been processed, you can: Download the isolated image as a PNG. Customize your image in Studio. Trace and Studio After removing a background with Trace, select Customize to open the image in Studio. From Studio, you can add backgrounds or other design elements, export your finished design, or use it to order custom products. You can also remove or restore an image background directly in Studio by selecting the image and clicking Remove background.
With the free usage of Trace, you can process 5 images per day.
Trace currently supports images with a file size of up to 12 megabytes.
The accuracy of background removal depends on the clarity of the foreground (person, animal, car, or object). Currently, it’s not possible to make adjustments directly in Trace. If you're using your image to order a custom product, we can make adjustments during proofing as long as the background remains transparent.
Yes! Once your image is traced, select customize. This will bring you to Studio where you can upload your own background and customize your image.
If you'd like to make adjustments to your image, select the customize option after tracing your design. This will take you to Studio, our free design tool, where you can scale, crop, rotate, and endlessly edit your image!
