Free adjusted reprint turned out better in some ways

Anthony Weisensel

Sticker Mule generously offered to do a free reprint with most of the blues adjusted with yellow added to them to try to get the design to stand out against the blue outlines that were just darkened some. Unfortunately, that caused the frog colors to be pretty close to the lilypad/disc colors and to the wave colors, so the visual hierarchy of frog, disc, then waves was lost. The frog is at least more visible now with the body color contrasting the outline color better. With Sticker Mule's DTG shirt printing process using RGB files instead of CMYK files to try to extend the CMYK color range some, it seems like anyone getting shirts made should maybe use an RGB colorspace in their design program instead of CMYK unless you use a photo or your design has very high saturation colors separated by very dark or very light outlines, but blues can get tricky. As mentioned in my previous review, I love the stickers I get from Sticker Mule, but I will probably go elsewhere for custom shirts in the future that use DTF printing instead for better color and sharpness in the shirt design print. However, if Sticker Mule gets DTF printing in the future along with back and sleeve printing as available options, then I may get shirts from them again. Maybe my design would have printed much better if I had used an RGB colorspace.
