Not for paper tape newbies

The process and turnaround was seamless. The tape looks great. I knew what kind of tape it was and followed the instructions but it was a messy process and ultimately didn't stick so I wasted my first piece. The box I tired to apply it to is just wet and gross now. It's discouraging because I don't want to waste product that I need. Not sure if I want to invest in the machines recommended or just go a different route.
