The word white hidden in fine print
The ordering and proofing system is misleading when it comes to material transparency. I designed and submitted artwork expecting a clear/transparent result, but the final product was printed on white vinyl. While this is technically mentioned in fine print, the interface does not make this clear in any meaningful way during the approval process. The preview shown does not accurately reflect how the design will look on white backing unless you manually toggle “dark mode,” which is not explained or presented as necessary to understand the final output. There is no clear visual warning that the background will print as white. For a product where material type fundamentally changes the result, this should be explicit and visually obvious—not hidden in small text or dependent on a non-intuitive toggle. This led to a completely different outcome than expected, making the proofing process unreliable for designs that depend on transparency.
