Gorgeous prints, but don't stick well at all

They look fantastic, I was so happy with them when I saw them. But they are massively let down by not sticking well at all - and it was very difficult to peel the backing off them, finding an edge to catch with my short nails frequently resulted in simply tearing the paper, leaving a thinner layer to try and peel off. Perhaps if the backing was applied in 2 separate pieces so gently bending the sticker would loosen an edge? But ultimately the poor stick-ability is what has let this down.
