Recycling code #4 is often not accepted at curbside recycling programs. However, some local communities do accept it, as it is considered a safe form of plastic. We recommend checking with your local recycling provider for the most accurate guidance.
A recycling code is not an automatic indicator that a material is recyclable, but rather an explanation of what the item is.
