Excellent results with illustrator

I have been making stickers and magnets for a while and have narrowed my process down. I get crisp lines and punchy colours with the following steps: Scan line work into Photoshop and clean up/make sure all is black or white Import into Illustrator>image trace(I use a customized setting)>expand Add color with paint bucket tool. Make sure its CMYK. Add type with illustrator and convert text to outlines
