"Pre treatment box"

Steph

I'm a little disappointed with the quality of the shirts I ordered. The first batch had issues with something they call a "pre treatment box" which I was not aware of. I watched their video before ordering, and at no point does it mention this pre treatment box. The problem is that it creates an off-colour box around the design, like a frame. I told their customer service team about it, and they were very kind to send me new ones free of charge. They also told me that if I wash them, the box shouldn't be visible. However, the box still shows, and it's even more noticeable after washing it. I'm very conflicted on whether or not to buy shirts from Sticker Mule again, seeing as I print my own designs to sell at art markets, and no one wants to buy these off of me now. I feel like I've wasted money on a product thats just going to sit in my closet. I might repurpose them by cutting them where the pre treatment box is and sewing it to the back of a jean jacket. But this is now a lot more work than I have planned for, and it's making the low price not even worth it anymore since I'm spending lots of time, energy, and money washing them, emailing customer service for reprints, and now having to buy jean jackets just to make use of these shirts. I just wish this "pre treatment box" was something they mentioned so I knew what I was getting myself into. I gave 3 starts because the shirts are super soft after washing, the quality of the design itself is good, and their customer service team is quite friendly and easy to communicate with.
