Sticker not cut enough

This is the first time I have ordered kiss cut stickers and have had some trouble removing them from the backing. It as if they have not been cut away deep enough from outer edge. I have to pull the entire thing off, sticker plus outer edge, and force the sticker away from the edge. Some stickers have been stretched and damaged when trying to remove them from the backing. These are the first stickers I’ve received from SM that have been less than impressive.
