Good, but they could be better

Shipping was very fast, they basically arrived a week earlier which was a nice surprise. I am also pleased with the colors of the print. However, before buying please be aware of the following: 1. The charms come without keychains, you have to supply them yourself. 2. The quality of print is... alright? It's not the same top-tier quality seen in Mule's stickers, unfortunately. Moderate graininess is visible, especially in designs with many fine details. On the other hand - I am pleased with the colors, the greens and oranges were spot-on. It came out looking much better and more vibrant compared to transparent stickers with the same design that I ordered from SM earlier. However, I heard that yellows and blues are coming out lighter and less saturated in print. It appears that the printing method for acrylic charms is not the same as for stickers. You may want to keep that in mind, and adjust your own design accordingly. 3. Edges of the acrylic charms are quite sharp, and because all charms are shipped together in one zip bag they tend to scratch and damage one another during transit. 4. All charms come with a protective film on top. When I first opened my parcel, I thought they're all terribly scratched up... luckily it was only the mentioned film - it blends into the charms so good that it looks like they're one, which had fooled me at first. Still, it ended up working very well, no charms that I've received had damaged fronts - the protective front layer cushioned all scratches. My only complaint is that the film itself is difficult to peel off, and you have to be very careful not to damage the charm itself when trying to take it off. 5. The charms are one-sided, with no protective layer on the back (where the artwork is glued to). The back is all white, and slightly sticky - other charms may stick to it during shipping. It is quite resistant to scratching with your nail, but sturdier and sharper objects (see: edges of other charms) may damage it. 6. The acrylic layer itself is quite thick, making it hard to put split rings/loops through the keychain hole. May not be suitable option for jewelry makers. 7. I've ordered 50 charms and got 53 instead, which was a good call as three out of those were beyond salvation, but the extra charms even'd it out. Yay? Overall, I'm in two minds - the price I got these charms for (discounted, $29 for 50 pieces) was really good, but I worry about their durability as the backs have no protective layer. As such, I don't feel they're good enough to be sold as custom merch, at least not for a "full" price, unless you apply some kind of protective coating yourself. If Sticker Mule introduces an option to seal the backs of the charms, I would be more inclined to order from them again... and if they introduce double-sided charms then I'll definitely come back to get them. For now, I think I'll stick to their stickers, which are god-tier.
