Transfer tape

Well the transfer tape has pretty much made the whole point of this product useless. It's only saving grace is that the transfer tape is transparent. After following the instructions for application (putting vinyl lettering on a decoupage map) the transfer tape is too strong to pull off the map without pulling up the map image. So, instead of the lettering on the map by itself, it will permanently be an awkward frame around the lettering visible from different angles. Half kicking myself for not thinking this could happen but I had little reason to believe it would pull up the surface I was sticking it to. Maybe something could be said in the removal instructions? I have to imagine this could happen if you were putting stickers on paper or paint. I'd use the product again but be much more careful. Pretty pissed, though, that what I was creating for my wife is going to look somewhat crappy.
