Printing not as "crisp" as I expected

I like the concept, and I'm fairly happy with the product, but my design included some small type and it is not very clear on the finished product. I even asked to have it made larger than their original proof had it. It'd have been nice to have been notified that I may want to make the type larger or bolder to avoid the blurriness.
