Adhesive doesn't work properly

Absolutely awful. First of all, it never came with the sponge to apply water to the tape, secondly, when we applied water to the adhesive, it never was strong enough to stick to the package. I've tried numerous times, but each time it peels off with hardly any effort, I've tried different amounts of water but it's no use. I've had to put clear shipping tape over the custom tape which just looks awful. Won't ever bother buying this again.
