How do I wash my custom hat?

Accepted Answer

We recommend hand washing your custom hat to protect the print and preserve your hat’s shape.

Gently scrub with a soft damp cloth and mild soap to remove light dirt or sweat marks.

Rinse gently with cold water.

Reshape and air dry.

If a deep clean is needed, soak in cold water with a little detergent and gently scrub. Be careful not to soak the brim, as it may lose its shape.

Avoid: machine washing, bleach, wringing, or heat (dryer or hot water). These can damage the print and structure of the hat.

What is the print area on custom hats?

The standard print area for custom hats is 5.5" wide by 2.25" tall and perfectly placed right on the front center panel of the hat. That's our go-to spot for maximum visibility and classic style.

But here's the fun part: it's not one-size-fits-all.

Our proofing team reviews your specific design and will adjust the print size and positioning to best suit your artwork's shape and proportions. Whether your logo is wide and sleek or tall and bold, we'll make sure it looks its best.

No, your custom hat is your canvas! Our custom hats come with zero permanent Sticker Mule branding, so your design takes center stage without any distractions.

Each hat will arrive with a removable 2" x 2" holographic sticker placed on top of the brim that reads:

It's a nod to the craftsmanship of the hat, but you can peel it off before wearing, keep it for fun, or stick it somewhere cool. Totally up to you.

What size custom hats are available?

Right now, our custom hats come in one classic size, but thanks to the adjustable snapback, they fit most heads comfortably. The standard-profile, 5-panel design hugs the head nicely without sitting too high or too flat, so it looks good from every angle.

The base size is 58 cm (22.83"), but you can easily tighten or loosen the fit with the snapback closure to find your sweet spot.

Here's a rough breakdown of how the fit adjusts:

Smallest (2nd snap): ~6.5" diameter / ~20.4" circumference

Middle setting (all snaps) ~7.5" diameter / ~23.5" circumference

Largest (last 2 snaps) ~8" diameter / ~25.1" circumference
