Nice sticker but poor delivery method made a less than perfect application

I ordered "Lil' Bit" in a 7.5 x 25 size. The package arrived 15 days later (so not quite the 4 days turnaround, however, shipping was free so I can't complain there). The sticker arrived in a box (which was nice for protection), but the sticker was rolled up and rubber banded together. This resulted in some separation between the transfer tape, the vinyl lettering and the backing in several areas, as well as a somewhat folded backing. In turn, when applying this sticker it was impossible to get the entire thing smooth. I used a top hinge method of applying this vinyl and went slow, and even when getting my wife to help (so 4 hands, not 2) there are still a few spots that ended up folded over on itself due to all the pieces being uneven as one unit. I figure it was a mixture of using the rubber band to hold it rolled up together and the heat that caused the separation... I wonder if leaving the vinyl sticker loosely rolled inside the box would have resulted in a better delivery. From a distance, the sticker looks fine, but up close I see the flaws. This is disappointing.
