Sitcky / 7/10 print / top layer separating

Jonathan Vander Ark

We really like the potential quality of the stickers, they look mostly good, and maybe we just didn't get a good batch. There are three layers, the backing, the sticker, and a clear top coat. The backing is difficult to get off without finger nails. As mechanics, it's difficult for us. My wife thinks it's easy. 9/10 The sticker quality seems really good. Sticks well, but the print has a soft blur to it. I uploaded a PDF at 600 dpi, so I'm not quite sure why it would not be sharp - it printed much sharper on the inkjet at home. Color is perfect, top notch. 7/10 Clear coat top is fringing all over on about half of the stickers. In the first couple days one of the clear coats was coming off enough that a customer removed it and then called to complain. I'm guessing the tooling is not as sharp as it should be. The clear coat also attributes to some of the aforementioned blur. It's not actually very clear, more like a 90% translucence. 1/10 Overall, we're a bit conflicted. Would we reorder? Probably, maybe. I've had experience ordering from Mule in the past with other companies and am suspect that it's a one off, but it's also the first time I've ordered this specific product. We would probably order a really small test batch before we went all in. Solid 2.5 / 5 product, past experience leaves it at 3.
