Not very impressed, but it will do

After seeing many great reviews, I figured I couldn't go wrong with choosing Sticker Mule to develop our maple syrup bottle labels, but I can't say I'm too impressed with the result. My gold-on-black logo ended up looking like a washed out yellow-on-grey/blue. The lettering on the logo is a bit pixelated despite my submitted artwork being 4096 x 4096 px (PNG). In all honesty, they look like they were printed on an inkjet; the viewing angle affects the shine, which affects the already de-saturated colours, which just hurts the overall fidelity of the logo. However, I don't think they look dreadful - they actually look okay from an arm's length away and I will still use them. It's just not true to the original artwork and kind of looks cheap :( This is my first purchase from Sticker Mule, and I WAS happy with the price (assuming the result would actually look as good as my artwork). I'm kind of hoping this was just a fluke, because the services this company offers are really appealing. At this point in time, though, I don't know if I will choose Sticker Mule for next year's maple syrup run.
