Almost any artwork, from family photos to professional promotions, will stand out on our custom posters. Vector files, which are made from mathematical paths and can be infinitely scaled, are ideal for printed products. Vector file formats can include eps, ai, pdf, SVG, or sketch. Raster images, which are made up of a bunch of tiny pixels, also work great as long as they are 300 PPI at the size you'd like your custom posters printed. The paper weight of our custom posters is 192 gsm (grams per square meter or g/m²) / 71 lb cover stock. For comparison, typical copy or printer paper is about 75 gsm / 20 lb. Related article: How thick is the paper stock for custom posters?
Vector files are the most optimal file types for custom posters and large-scale printing. Raster images can also work if they are 300 ppi at 18" x 24". Raster images are made up of a bunch of tiny pixels, while vector images are made from mathematical paths and can be infinitely scaled. • You can upgrade any image to a vector graphic with Redraw. • You can increase the resolution of a raster image with Upscale.
