Declines can happen for a variety of reasons. When we submit a charge to your bank, their automated systems determine whether or not to accept the charge. These systems take various signals into account, such as your spending habits, account balance and purchase size.

Since these signals are constantly changing, a previously successful card might be declined in the future. Even if all of the card information is correct, and you previously had a successful payment using your card, a future charge can still be declined by a bank's overzealous fraud systems.

## Can you tell my why my card was declined?

We only know as much as your bank tells us about the reason for a decline. Unfortunately, in most cases, the bank informs us that the card was declined and doesn't give a specific reason.

## What should I do if my card is declined?

If all of the card information seems correct, it is best to contact your bank and ask for the charge to be accepted. They should be able to see the attempted charge, provide a reason for the decline and lift whatever restriction is preventing your purchase.

Alternatively, you could order using PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account balance, selecting PayPal during checkout will still give you an option to pay using your credit card. It's possible that a card that was declined by our payment gateway will be accepted by PayPal, but ultimately it's best to contact your bank to determine the root cause of the problem.

Wall decals are removable for up to 6 months under normal circumstances. Avoid applying to freshly painted walls (wait 7 days after painting) and we recommend asking a friend for help when applying. Removal should be done at a 180° angle while pulling slowly.

We include a squeegee and 10 tape strips, along with printed instructions ([vertical](https://cl.ly/9ede6bb34afb/download/standard-wall-graphic-instructions.pdf) or [horizontal](https://cl.ly/dae364d76820/download/horizontal-wall-graphic-instructions.pdf)) with each order.

### Step 1
Unroll your wall graphic and discard the brown kraft paper.

Flip the wall graphic over and place face down on a clean surface.

### Step 3
If your wall graphic is larger than 2 ft, you’ll notice a back slit line toward the top. Peel off the top section of the backing and discard.

__Note:__ If your wall graphic is smaller than 2 ft, you can simply peel the entire backing and apply to your wall.

### Step 4
With the adhesive exposed at the top, stick the wall graphic to a clean wall. Our adhesive is repositionable so you can adjust it to your liking.

Apply a few strips of tape to the top of the wall graphic to secure its position.

Reach behind the wall graphic and begin peeling the rest of the backing off.

With the other hand, smooth and apply the graphic to the surface using your hand or the supplied squeegee, working from the center out.

### Repositioning your wall graphic
If you've carefully followed the initial installation instructions above, you can reposition your wall graphic, following the same steps. 

Gently peel from top to the bottom, preferably removing it at a 180° angle, using a smooth, consistent force. 

Use care in keeping the adhesive-backed side of the wall decal clean and free of contact with any sources of debris. Dirt, dust and lint will adversely affect the adhesive surface negating the potential for reapplication of the decal. 

If you plan to store the wall decal, reapply the adhesive side of the decal to the glossy side of the original backing. Repeat necessary installation steps before applying decal in new location.
