How long do DTF transfers last?
DTF transfersare made from a durable material and can last a long time with proper care. Their lifespan can vary depending on the fabric, application, placement, and how the garment is washed and maintained.
For the longest-lasting results:
Apply the transfer using the recommended heat, pressure, and time. Be sure to check out our instructions on how to apply DTF transfers with an iron and how to apply DTF transfers with a heat press for best practices.
Wash garments inside out using cold water and a delicate cycle.
Air dry or use the lowest dryer setting when possible.
If your design is placed on an area that may experience a lot of friction or has ridges, such as socks, it may wear out faster than a logo placed on a sleeve or book bag.
Limit prolonged exposure to sunlight, heat, and rain. DTF transfers used on outdoor sportswear, for example, may not last as long as those used on casual wear.
With proper application and care, your DTF transfer should remain vibrant and securely bonded to the fabric for a long time.
