Why isn't your packaging tape perfectly opaque?

Our water activated packaging tape is fiberglass reinforced to ensure a strong and secure bond. The fiberglass threads create a slight crisscross pattern on the tapes surface. When any solid color designs are printed, there will be a slight transparency as a result of the fiberglass threads and printing finish.
