The printing and appearance of these labels was great, no issues there. And they seem pretty durable and waterproof, but we were wanting to use them as shipping labels that could have the address directly written on them. Despite following the instructions of only using ballpoint ink or permanent markers, we were unable to write on them without smearing (even while waiting a while for drying). ...

The same thing happened with these labels. They printed short side on edge and I have to label by hand.

This is the only thing that gets me. There doesn't seem to be any surefire way to guarantee that the long side of the the label will be at the edge of the roll (photo attached.) I thought by submitting the art rotated that they'd be printed correctly. That's just not the case 100% of the time. This is especially frustrating because I can't use my labeling machine with these labels. It means th...
