Not bad for the price

The quality isn't a patch on metallic/enamel pins, but that's to be expected given the price (especially for what I paid, given they were on a deal). The design is printed on the back onto a film-like material which is affixed to the back of a piece of acrylic. The acrylic is perhaps a bit thicker than I expected, but maybe it just looks bigger against my predominantly white design. I do think these would look better without any white background elements. The back looks like it'd scratch off easily - indeed, two or three of the badges were missing part of their backs (and one one, the bit that had detached included the actual pin/clutch). We still had enough with the others. The colours are still vibrant and the cut on the acrylic is nice, but these pin badges are still a bit of a pale imitation. Sometimes you need cheap and cheerful!
