What types of food can I use in your pouches?
United states: Custom stand up pouches are approved in the US for FDA Food Type Numbers I, IV-B, VI-B, VII-B and VIII. This includes:
- Non-acidic, water-based products (pH above 5.0), which may include salt, sugar, or both.
- Dairy products and their variations, such as oil-in-water emulsions—this includes both high-fat and low-fat varieties.
- Non-alcoholic beverages.
- Moist bakery items (excluding those listed under Types VIII or IX) where the surface doesn't contain free fat or oil.
- Dry solid foods with surfaces free of fat or oil.
European Union: In the EU, stand up pouches meet key standards, including EU Regulation No. 10/2011 and EU Regulation No. 1935/2004. The list of foods approved for standup pouches in the EU includes:

- Powdered milk and infant formula
- Whole, natural, and melted cheeses
- Eggs (whole, yolk, or whites – powdered, dried, or frozen)
Fats & Oils
- Fats and oils of various kinds
Prepared & Packaged Foods
- Dry soup, broth, or sauce mixes
- Ready-to-eat meals and homogenised food powders
- Sandwiches, toast, and pizzas without fatty surface ingredients
- Dried and frozen foods
Beverages & Aromatics
- Cocoa and coffee (roasted, decaf, soluble, or substitutes)
- Aromatic and herbal plants (e.g., chamomile, mint, tea)
- Dry spices and natural flavours (e.g., cinnamon, pepper, vanilla, salt)
- Spice and aroma pastes in oil (e.g., pesto, curry paste)
