Pins are separating from the backing

I didn’t have this problem with previous SM pins but these ones seem to have a foam adhesive between the pin and backing. The metal keeps separating, so I have been removing the two-sides foam sticker and gluing the pins together myself. I got them using the SM deal so I’m not upset about it but I felt compelled to share the issue.
