If your label dispenser isn't working as expected, try the troubleshooting steps below. The motor isn't running The label liner may be too tight. Use the tensioner handle to loosen the tension on the roll. Check that the label roll doesn't exceed the dispenser's maximum supported weight of 4.4 lb (2 kg). The label liner keeps tearing The liner may be too tight. Use the tensioner handle to loosen the tension on the roll. The label roll may be defective. Try another roll to see if the issue continues. The dispenser isn't peeling labels Make sure the liner is loaded correctly. Refer to section 7 of the label dispenser user manual. Check that the roll is properly tensioned. For correct installation, the spring inside the orange component should be fully compressed so that the orange component is not visible. Incorrect installation: orange component visible Correct installation: spring fully compressed The key isn't holding the liner Make sure the liner is loaded correctly. Refer to section 7 of the label dispenser user manual. Check that the roll is properly tensioned. Make sure the key is positioned correctly on the magnet. The dispenser won't turn on Check that the power plug is fully inserted into the dispenser. Make sure the power supply is properly connected to a working wall outlet. Still having trouble? Before cleaning your label dispenser, disconnect the power cord. Use a slightly damp cloth with mild detergent to clean the device. Do not use water or corrosive, abrasive, or solvent-based cleaners, and do not allow moisture to enter the machine. Do not use a damp cloth on the sensor.
