Really much darker and thicker than I wanted

I scaled back the darkness by 40% and it still printed super dark. I understand how CMYK source files shouldn't be too dark, but I think having a sample/template file to follow would be very useful for future printing. Also, the vinyl thickness and texture is way too much. I would've preferred something smooth and thinner. The finish is a nice matter, though. The sipping was solid, but the actual product was previously folded awkwardly. Very strange...
