Cat Die-Cuts

The printing looks great, but there were a lot of white bits of paper from the die-cutting stuck to the stickers, which left indentations in them, there are also indentions along some of the sides that follow the cut line. It seems like the blade was dull or maybe the machine was struggling with all these curves. I'm currently painstakingly brushing all the white bits off of the stickers. I'd like to know if this is unusual or if I need to keep the cut lines simpler to prevent this.
