Thank you for using stickermule.com and our related services (the “Services”). This policy describes how Sticker Mule, LLC collects, uses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with our Services.
Our privacy practices relating to employees, prospective employees, and independent contractors are separately addressed in our employee policies and third-party contracts.
Use of services and scope of policy
Personal information is necessary to provide certain features of our Services. For example, we sometimes need to disclose your personal information to third parties and service providers that help us provide our Services. If you are not willing to provide your personal information and have it disclosed to third parties in accordance with this policy, you will not be able to use certain features of our Services.
In addition, some of our Services, including our “Stores” page, have features similar to social media (the “Social Tools”), including the ability to “like,” follow, share, or otherwise interact with content or creators in ways that may expose your personal information. Some of our Services also link (or allow users to link) to third-party services, websites, or applications that are subject to the third parties’ own privacy policies or practices. Those third parties might independently solicit, collect, process, and/or share your personal information. We therefore encourage you to review the privacy notices or policies of all third parties you visit.
Collection of personal information
We collect personal information from and about users of our Services. As described in detail below, users provide some information directly, such as information provided in creating an account or purchasing a product, and some information is automatically collected from user devices. We also receive information from our customers, service providers, and vendors.
Information users provide to us
Users give us personal information about themselves when they:
- Register for a Sticker Mule account;
- Order products or services from us;
- Use our online tools for content creation, development, sales, and delivery, including our shipping tools (“Content Tools”);
- Request customer support or send us any other communications;
- Sign up for email alerts or other communications;
- Select or adjust settings on our website;
- Use the Social Tools;
- Participate in our “Commissions” program (located here);
- Post or share content, including reviews, on our website or Services;
- Like, tag, link, or otherwise interact with Sticker Mule on social media;
- Enter sweepstakes, contests, or other promotional activities with us;
- Sign up for or redeem special offers from us, including those sent by SMS; or
- Respond to surveys or requests for reviews.
In some instances, users of our Services may also provide personal information about other individuals (for example, through interactions with our Social Tools or on social media, or by selling or shipping to individuals through our Content Tools).
Depending on your interactions with us, the personal information we collect may include:
- Contact information, including your name, phone number, email address;
- Order information, including billing address, shipping address, payment card or other financial account number(s), and order/shipping history;
- Tax, financial, other government identifiers (such as Social Security Numbers), or other business information, including business contact information, if you sell on Sticker Mule;
- Your photo ID or biometric information, including photo, sex/gender, birthday, and other identification information, if you provide it for verification purposes in connection with our any of our services;
- Other verification information that you provide to us in connection with any privacy-related requests;
- Profile information for our “Stores” page, including username and store URL (which you can change), display name (which you can change), photo (if you choose to upload one), and biographical information (if you choose to provide a bio);
- Your participation in marketing events;
- IP Address, device IDs, and other information related to the use of our website and Services;
- Geographic information, including address or location information you provide in connection with the categories above and the location from which you access our Services.
- Communication information, including whether you opened emails, SMS, or other notifications that we sent to you, clicked on links contained in the emails, SMS, or notifications, and information about the device(s) you used to do so; and
- Marketing information, such as interests or other demographic information, provided by our customers, service providers, and marketing vendors, which may be used in audience development efforts.
If you register for a Sticker Mule account and use our Content Tools, interact with our Social Tools, utilize our “Stores” page, or interact with us on social media, the information and content you provide or upload may be visible to other users. Additionally, if the information or content is posted by you on a page or in a medium that is accessible to the public, we will collect that information and use it for the purposes described in this policy. Third parties might also collect any information or content publicly accessible through our website or Services, and you might receive unsolicited messages from other parties as a result.
Information collected automatically
When you use our Services or interact with us, certain personal information may be passively or automatically collected, meaning we collect the information without a user actively providing it. This data may include your IP address, location (city/state/country), website usage information, and device information.
We also use cookies and similar technologies on our website and Services. A cookie is a small text file that our website sends to your computer to allow the website and certain of our service providers to receive and store information that uniquely identifies our users. You can always delete cookies and reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to display a message when a cookie is being sent. If you reset your browser, some of the features and functionality of our website and Service may not be available to you.
We use cookies for the following purposes:
- To improve the quality of our Services, including the speed and safety of users’ digital experience (for example, allowing users to maintain an active connection during navigation through the website; to store credentials in a safe mode; to identify the website pages you have already visited);

- To market our own products and Services, and the products and services of third parties, to you, including the display of targeted advertisements and related reporting;

We may de-identify personal information and create anonymous and aggregated data sets and reports for any lawful purposes, including efforts to assess, improve, and develop our business, products, and services, and for other research, marketing, and analytics purposes.
If you are in the United Kingdom, European Union, or Switzerland, our lawful bases for processing your personal information include consent, compliance with legal obligations, and the pursuit of our own legitimate business interests. The legitimate interests are to manage our relationship with you; to keep our records updated and resolve user issues; to improve, profile, personalize and develop the services we offer you; to communicate with you about your use of our Services; to operate, troubleshoot, and improve our Services; to monitor use of our Services; improving, ensuring the safety of, and operating quality controls pertaining to, upgrading, or enhancing our Services; debugging to identify and repair errors in offering the Services; enforcing our agreements and policies, and notifying you of changes to the our various terms associated with any Services you may use or our Privacy Policy. Where consent is the basis for processing, you may withdraw consent at any time but this does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
Sharing of personal information
While we do not disclose personal information to third parties in exchange for monetary compensation, we do disclose or make available personal information to third parties in order to receive certain services or benefits from them.
We may share personal information with:
- Our service providers, who perform certain functions and provide certain services, tools, or features on our behalf. Those services include data storage; customer relationship management; website hosting and technical support; email or text marketing; other marketing activities; customer service; and business and operations analysis. Our service providers have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes.
- Third-party cookie and analytics providers so that we can support the experience and personalization of our Services; perform research and analysis about your use of, or interest in, our Services; and perform marketing activities, which may include audience development and targeting. Under certain state privacy laws, this disclosure of information may be deemed to be a “sale” or a “share” of your personal information. As discussed below, you may opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for these purposes.
We also may disclose your information:
- In response to a subpoena or similar investigative demand, a court order, or a request for cooperation from a law enforcement or other government agency; to establish or exercise our legal rights; to investigate or defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases, we may raise or waive any legal objection or right available to us.
- When we believe disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing; to protect and defend the rights, property or safety of our company, our users, our employees, or others; or to enforce our Terms and Conditions or other agreements or policies.
- In connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as the sale of our business, a divestiture, merger, consolidation, reorganization, or asset sale, or in the unlikely event of bankruptcy.
- When you provide us with your consent to share your information with third parties.

Pursuant to the California Consumer Privacy Act (the “CCPA”), and Multi-State Privacy Laws the categories of personal information that we may “sell,” “share,” or use for “targeted advertising” purposes as defined under the CCPA and Multi-State Privacy Laws include:
- Identifiers;
- Usage Data;
- Electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with our Services; and
- Geolocation data.
Again, we have not sold those categories of information for monetary consideration, but we have “sold,” “shared,” or used for “targeted advertising” purposes those categories of information, as defined by the CCPA or Multi-State Privacy Laws to third-party cookie and analytics providers in the preceding twelve months.
Retention of personal information
We will retain your personal information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law or defined in an agreement. We may retain personal information for longer periods where required by our regulatory obligations or professional indemnity obligations, or where we believe it is necessary to establish, defend or protect our legal rights and interests or those of others.
We will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis or to strengthen the security or improve the functionality of our Services.
Cross-border transfers of personal information
Where permitted by applicable law, we may transfer the personal information we collect about you to the United States and other jurisdictions that may not be deemed to provide the same level of data protection as your home country, as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. We have implemented applicable standard contractual clauses to protect the transfer of your personal information to the United States and other jurisdictions.
We will provide an individual opt-out choice or opt-in for sensitive data before we share your data with third parties other than our agents or before we use it for a purpose other than which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized. To request to limit the use and disclosure of your personal information, please submit a written request to help@stickermule.com.
Children’s personal information
Our Services are not directed at children under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect, sell, or share personal information from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, you may not use our Services or provide your information to us through our website or otherwise. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this policy.
Security of personal information
The security of your personal information is important to us. We take physical, administrative, and technical measures to protect the personal information that we collect and process, but we cannot guarantee, and you should not expect, the protection of your data from all possible threats and bad actors.
Opt-out preference signals / Global Privacy Control
We recognize and honor opt-out preference signals (also known as Global Privacy Controls) to the extent required by applicable law. If we detect that your browser has sent a global privacy control using the “Global Privacy Control” (Global Privacy Control — Take Control Of Your Privacy), we will honor the signal.
SMS messaging program
If you opt into receive SMS messages, we will send you messages regarding our services, updates, and offers. We will also send messages for customer service and support purposes. By subscribing to our SMS program, you consent to receive SMS messages at the phone number and name you provided to us. Consent to receive promotional texts is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency may vary based on your interaction with our service. You certify that you are authorized: (a) to enroll the designated mobile phone number in text notifications, and (b) to incur any mobile message or data charges that may be incurred by participating in text notifications as described further below. We do not have a separate charge for text notifications, but message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. For assistance with our program, please text HELP, in response to a text message received from us. By enrolling in text notifications, you approve any such charges from your mobile carrier and agree that you are solely responsible and liable for paying them. Charges for text messages may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your prepaid balance. To stop receiving text messages, text STOP, END, QUIT, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE in response to a text message received from us and we will unsubscribe you from our list within 24 hours. You agree that following such a request to unsubscribe, you will receive one final message confirming that you have been inactivated. Following such confirmation, no additional text messages will be sent unless you re-enroll. We will retain your information as long as you are subscribed to our program, and we will delete your information upon request.
We will not share any personal information obtained as part of our text messaging communications with you with third parties for marketing purposes. We use your information solely to send you updates, promotions, and reminders related to our products and services. We are not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, or misdirected messages, including (but not limited to) undelivered messages resulting from any form of filtering by your mobile carrier or service provider or otherwise. We protect your data through secure and encrypted means where required by law. We may share your information with third parties that help us provide SMS services, such as platform providers and phone companies. We will not sell any personal information obtained as part of our text messaging communications with you, and we do not permit our third-party suppliers, vendors, or contractors to sell any personal information obtained in the course of our business relationship related to our text message communications with you.
Additional information for residents in certain jurisdictions
California
In this section, we provide information for California residents as required under California privacy laws, including the CCPA.
Categories of personal information that we collect and disclose. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information about a California resident will vary depending upon the circumstances and nature of our interactions or relationship with such resident. The section above entitled “Collection of Personal Information” sets out the categories of personal information (as defined by the CCPA) about California residents that we have collected and disclosed to others for a business purpose within the past twelve months. We collect these categories of personal information from the sources described in that section of the policy and for the purposes described in the section above entitled “Use of Personal Information.”
If you are a California resident, the CCPA grants you certain rights and imposes restrictions on particular business practices as set forth below:
- Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: California residents have the right to opt out of the sale of their personal information. California residents also have the right to opt out of the “sharing” of their personal information, which under the law means making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Initial Notice: We are required to notify California residents, at or before the point of collection of their personal information, regarding the categories of personal information collected and the purposes for which such information is used.
- Right to Limit: California residents have the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information in certain situations. The CCPA defines “sensitive personal information” as personal information that reveals: (1) consumer’s Social Security or other state identification number; (2) a consumer’s account log-in, financial account, debit card, or credit card number in combination with any required security or access code, password, or credentials allowing access to an account; (3) consumer’s geolocation; (4) consumer’s racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, or union membership; (5) the contents of a consumer’s mail, email, or text messages, unless the business is the intended recipient of the communication; and (6) consumer’s genetic data. You may have the right to limit our processing of sensitive personal information to the extent that we use sensitive personal information for any purpose other than: (1) to perform services or provide good reasonably expected by a consumer who requested those goods or services; (2) to detect security incidents provided that the use of personal information is reasonably necessary and proportionate for this purpose; (3) to restrict, malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal actions directed at us and prosecute those responsible for those actions, provided the use of personal information is reasonably necessary and proportionate for this purpose; (4) to ensure the physical safety or natural persons, provided the use of the personal information is necessary and proportionate for this purpose; (5) for short-term transient use, including but not limited to non-personalized advertising shown as part of the consumer's current interaction with us, provided the personal information is not disclosed to another third party and is not used to build a profile about the consumer or otherwise alter the consumer's experience outside the current interaction with us; (6) to perform services on behalf of us, such as maintaining or servicing accounts, providing customer service, processing or fulfilling orders and transactions, verifying customer information, processing payments, providing financing, providing analytic services, providing storage, or providing similar services on behalf of the business; (7) to verify or maintain the quality or safety of a service or device that is owned, manufactured by, manufactured for, or controlled by us; or (8) for the purpose of inferring characteristics about a consumer.
- Request to Delete: California residents have a limited right to request deletion of their personal information that we have collected about them and to have such personal information deleted, except where an exemption applies.
- Request to Know: California residents have the right to request and, subject to certain exemptions, receive a copy of the specific pieces of personal information that we have collected, used, disclosed and sold about them in the prior 12 months and to have this delivered, free of charge, either (a) by mail or (b) electronically in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily useable format that allows the individual to transmit this information to another entity without hindrance. California residents also have the right to request that we provide them certain information about how we have handled their personal information in the prior 12 months, including the:
- categories of personal information collected;
- categories of sources of personal information;
- business and/or commercial purposes for collecting and selling their personal information;
- categories of third parties with whom we have shared their personal information;
- categories of personal information that we have sold in the preceding 12 months, and for each category identified, the categories of third parties to which we sold that particular category of information; and
- categories of personal information disclosed for a business purpose in the preceding 12 months, and for each category identified, the categories of third parties to which we disclosed that particular category of personal information.
- Request to Correct: California residents have the right to request correction of inaccurate personal information that we maintain about them.
- Right to Non-Retaliation: The CCPA prohibits retaliation against California residents for exercising their rights under the CCPA. We do not and will not retaliate against individuals based on their exercise of rights under the CCPA.

We will use the following process to verify requests: We will acknowledge receipt of your request, verify it using processes required by law, and process and respond to your request as required by law. To verify such requests, we may ask you to provide the following information:
For a request to know categories of personal information which we collect, we will verify your identity to a reasonable degree of certainty by matching at least two data points provided by you against information in our systems that are considered reasonably reliable for the purposes of verifying a consumer’s identity.
For a request to know specific pieces of personal information or for requests to correct or delete, we will verify your identity to a high degree of certainty by matching at least three pieces of personal information provided by you to personal information maintained in our systems and also by obtaining a signed declaration under penalty of perjury that the requestor is the consumer whose personal information is the subject of the request.
Authorized agent requests: An authorized agent can make a CCPA request on a California resident’s behalf by providing either: (1) a power of attorney valid under California law; or (2) proof that the consumer gave the agent signed permission to submit the request. The consumer must also provide either: (1) verification of their own identity with respect to a right to know categories, right to know specific pieces of personal information, or requests to delete which are outlined above; or (2) direct confirmation that the consumer provided the authorized agent permission to submit the request.
Other U.S. States with Privacy Rights
Under the following U.S. state laws, individuals may have certain privacy rights described in this section: the Colorado Privacy Act; Connecticut Data Privacy Act; Delaware Personal Data Privacy Act; Indiana Consumer Data Protection Act; Iowa Consumer Data Protection Act; Kentucky Consumer Data Protection Act; Maryland Online Data Privacy Act; Minnesota Consumer Data Privacy Act; Montana Consumer Data Privacy Act; Nebraska Data Privacy Act; New Hampshire Data Privacy Act; New Jersey Data Protection Act; Oregon Consumer Privacy Act; Rhode Island Data Transparency and Privacy Protection Act; Tennessee Information Protection Act; Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; Utah Consumer Privacy Act; and Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act. Collectively these laws are referred to as the “Multi-State Privacy Laws.”
In this section, we provide information for individuals who are entitled to rights under Multi-State Privacy Laws.
Categories of personal information that we collect and disclose. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information about individuals entitled to rights under Multi-State Privacy Laws will vary depending upon the circumstances and nature of our interactions or relationship with such individual. The section above entitled “Collection of Personal Information” sets out the categories of personal information about individuals that we have collected and disclosed to others for a business purpose within the past twelve months. We collect these categories of personal information from the sources described in that section of the policy and for the purposes described in the section above entitled “Use of Personal Information.” Please note that some Multi-State Privacy Laws use the term Personal Data, rather than Personal Information. For purposes of this policy, Personal Information has the same meaning as Personal Data.
If you are a resident of a state covered by the Multi-State Privacy Laws, these laws may grant you certain rights and imposes restrictions on particular business practices as set forth below:
- Opt-Out of Certain Processing: You may have the right to opt out of certain processing activities. These include the right to opt out for purposes of (i) targeted advertising, (ii) the sale of Personal Data, or (iii) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning the consumer.
- Withdraw your Consent to our processing of your personal data. Where our processing is based on your consent or subject to your objection, please note that your withdrawal will only take effect for future processing and will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
- Access and Obtain a Copy of your personal data, including: (i) confirming whether and how we are processing your personal data; (ii) obtaining access to or a copy of your personal data; and (iii) receiving an electronic copy of personal data that you have provided to us; (iv) for automated information where our processing is based on consent or the performance of a contract with you, or (v) data portability (asking us to send that information to another company in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format).
- In some jurisdictions you may also have the right to request more specific information in certain circumstances, which may include the right to know which third parties your personal information was disclosed to or specific information used and decisions made as part of certain profiling activities.
- Request Correction of your personal data where it is inaccurate or incomplete. In some cases, we may provide self-service tools that enable you to update your personal data;
- Request Deletion of your personal data, which enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it, when you have successfully exercised your right to object to processing (see below), where we may have processed your information unlawfully or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local laws. Note, however, that we may not always be able to comply with your request of erasure for specific legal reasons which will be notified to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.
- Appeal. You may have the right to appeal our decision or response to your request. To exercise your right to appeal, you can submit an appeal request using the same method used to submit your original request, including by contacting us at any time as set forth below.
- Lodge a Complaint. While we are always willing and eager to listen and respond to your concerns about this Notice or our data practices, at any time you have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority or other regulatory body in charge of enforcing data protection laws in your jurisdiction.

You can contact us to exercise any of the rights you are granted under applicable data protection laws, which may include the right to (1) access your data, (2) rectify the data, (3) erase data, (4) restrict the processing of your data, (5) the right to receive a file of your personal information, (6) the right to object to the processing, and (7) where we have asked for your consent for processing, withdraw this consent. These rights will be limited in some situations. We may, for example, deny your request for access when necessary to protect the rights and freedoms of other individuals or refuse to delete your personal information if the processing of such data is necessary for compliance with legal or regulatory obligations. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the local Supervisory Authority.

What is a cookie?

- ETag, or Entity Tag. A feature of the cache in browsers. It is an opaque identifier assigned by a web server to a specific version of a resource found at a URL. If the resource content at that URL ever changes, a new and different ETag is assigned. Used in this manner ETags are a form of Device Identifier. ETag tracking may generate unique tracking values even where the consumer blocks HTTP, and/or HTML5 cookies.
- Recognition Technologies. Technologies, including application of statistical probability to data sets, which attempt to recognize or make assumptions about users and devices (e.g., that a user of multiple devices in the same user)
- Session Replay / Pixel Tracking. We also rely on Tracking Technologies for purposes of session replay and pixel tracking, which collect information that tracks your interactions with our Services, including mouse movements, text, heatmap data, and other information associated with your visit to our site. This information is used to help us improve our site and better provide you with information you are interested in when you visit our site.
